The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission has a Mobile Shower Unit that provides showers, toiletries, hygiene products, and clothing to people in need in the San Fernando Valley area. From July to September 2014 members and friends of New Zion Christian Fellowship (NZCF) Helping Hands Ministry collected much needed underwear, and socks that will be handed out to participants of this program. On October 24, 2014 the items were delivered to the staff at the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission by Pastor Dennis H. Ware Sr. and Sis. Valerie Bradford the Coordinator of the Helping Hands Outreach Ministry.

On June 25, 2014, members and friends of the New Zion Christian Fellowship (NZCF) Helping Hands Ministry donated, prepared and delivered lunch for residents of the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission.
